All mixed media certifications are issued by AAOS/ACEP Emergency Care & Safety Institute (ECSI).

After purchase of a mixed media class you will receive an emailed "key". (It may take anywhere from 1 hour up to 48 business hours to deliver this key depending on the time it is purchased.) This key will direct you to ECSI's website and allow you to trade the "key" for a user id to take the online portion of the class.  Once finished with the online class it is very important to PRINT the completion certificate and schedule your hands on skills testing. You MUST have the certificate to take the skills portion.  Real Life Emergency Training will provide skills testing and the certification card at no additional charge when the online class is purchased through us.  Skills testing is available on scheduled Wednesday Evenings by appt. only.

Mixed Media CPR Classes

Basic CPR
This combination online and hands-on program teaches layperson basic life support skills to address breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants.
Length: 2.5 hours; Requires separate practical exam. Continuing Education Hours: None

Adult Only CPR
This combination online and hands-on program teaches layperson basic life support skills to address breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults.
Length: 2 hours; Requires separate practical exam. Continuing Education Hours: None

Professional Rescuer CPR
This combination online and hands-on program teaches health care professionals the basic life support knowledge and skills to address breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children, and infants. Includes two-rescuer CPR, airway and ventilation devices, and AED training.
Length: 3 hours; Requires separate practical exam.
Continuing Education. Hours: 3.0 credits - ACEP/AMA/CECBEMS

Mixed Media First Aid Classes

First Aid Only
This combination online and hands-on program teaches layperson first aid skills that meet the required OSHA didactic content, as well as presenting the first aid skills for injury and illness treatment and prevention.
Length: 2.5 hours; Requires separate practical exam.

Adult Only CPR & First Aid
This combination online and hands-on program teaching layperson first aid and basic life support skills to address breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults.

Mixed Media AED Classes

AED Only
This combination online and hands-on course teaches laypersons and health care professionals how to operate automated external defibrillators.
Length: 1.5 hours; Requires separate practical exam.   This class is also available customized to various AED types.  Please contact us with the type of defibrillator you are looking for training on and we will check to see if it is available in the customized training.
